"Each of us is a vital thread in another person's tapestry;
our lives are woven together for a reason." Sarah Bernhardt

I have been a journalist and PR person, as a civilian and in the military, for more than forty years. I have been married to a career soldier for twenty-four of those years. My husband is still on active duty and doesn't plan on retiring any time soon. Working on the WWW is the perfect job for a military spouse since my computer is my office. Each time my husband comes down on PCS orders, I grab my briefcase, pack up my "office" and I'm ready to move! I have learned that the only true legacy is the memory you leave behind and the only true measure of wealth is the sum total of what you give away; not what you accumulate. To that end, I give freely of my material possessions but, more importantly, I also give freely of my heart. My life goal is that every person I meet, whether for a few seconds or many years, will benefit from the encounter.Life is so much easier when you finally realize that just by putting a little extra in front of ordinary, it isn't all that difficult to be extraordinary. Keepin' it country, ♥cheryl harvey hill♥

My Interests

I enjoy all music but I have worked for more than a decade in the country music industry as both a journalist and a PR person. I am extremely proud to be able to say that one of my very first clients, more than a decade ago, was Joe Nichols. He is not only one of the most talented entertainers in this industry but he is also one of the sweetest, funniest and kindest souls to be found anywhere.

I am also the Senior Staff Journalist/Editor, and album reviewer for CountryStarsOnline.com and I love it. If you haven't visited the site, you should. Jim Weaver has put together a great staff of journalists and photographers but he also welcomes "Real People Reviews." So if you have a great photo to share or have a hankering to write about your favorite artist, concert experience, or album; or if you just want to add your two cents to one of our features... just click on the link below, surf on over and tell Jim that Cheryl sent you. :=)

Hello God, I called tonight to talk a little while. I need a friend who'll listen to my anxiety and trial. You see, I can't quite make it through a day just on my own; I need your love to guide me, so I'll never feel alone. I want to ask you please to keep my loved ones safe and sound. Come and fill their lives with confidence for whatever fate they're bound. Give me faith, dear God, to face each hour throughout the day; and not to worry over things I can't change in any way. I thank you God, for being home and listening to my call; for giving me such good advice when I stumble and I fall. Your number, God, is the only one that answers every time. I never get a busy signal, never pay a dime. So thank you,God, for listening to my troubles and my sorrow. Good night, dear God, I love You, too, I'll call again tomorrow. author unknown
