About Me

Want to show your support for our troops? Lets look after their families. We need people who are willing to write to or send cards to our military families. Not just to those fighting but to anyone who serves. The idea is to send cards or letters of thank you, cards for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, mothers day, fathers day for children, spouses, or parents. Some of you don't know what you can do to help. Some of you want to do more. This is a great way to show support. **************************************************** -If you would like to help out please send an email. -If you know a military family, please tell us about them. -If you are part of a military family introduce yourself...please! We want to fill this page with your faces. -If you have pictures and don't mind us posting them, please share! Above all please help us get the word out and share this page with your friends! **************************************************** We are in process of building a web site and will post a link as soon as we can. Someday we would like to send birthday presents to children and flowers to wives and mothers. This could grow into something beautiful with your help. Let's let the troops know America is looking after their families as our way of saying Thank You! **************************************************** Our Mailing Address:Operation Family Support P.O. My Interests

A Soldiers HeartToday is the day I go away, my heart is aching, to see you again; I will wait for that day. * Write me lots of letters, write them with love, if god shall take me, know I'm watching from above. * Thoughts of you leaving me run through my head, or how any given moment here I can end up dead. * I barely get much sleep and I wear this heavy gear, and I'm always on guard fearing the end could be near. * Bullets of rage and screams of the dead, can't seem to leave my ears or get out of my head. * Wondering what your doing as the days go by, missing the birth of our baby, asking God why? * Ready to give up, then thinking about it twice, and remembering I'm here for you and my country, and my life I would sacrifice. * I know the reasons we are here may not be right, but remember the word freedom? And for that we have to fight. * The future is in our hands and we have to keep it bright, so that our little ones have no worries, and can sleep safe at night. * I will come home to you, I promise with all my heart, evil, darkness and bullets, will never keep us apart. *By: Cora Buss

Heroes:

Edmund Burke said, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." These men and women do not stand idly by. These heroes are the men and women of the armed forces, anyone out there who serves and protects, police officers, EMS workers, fire fighters, and a very important ingredient that keeps them going...their familles! They are all true heroes!
