I love music, art, psychology, neuroscience, and philosophy. I have an Associates in Liberal Arts and Sciences. I am a PSYCHOLOGY major at the University of Pittsburgh.
I am working on an honors thesis on connectionist models of semantic spaces.
I am a research assistant in a facility studying experience based cognition (see link @ bottom of page).
I aspire to be a cat lady living in the mountains some day.
I hate politics, but I can't stay out of them.
I ride the fence because absolute truth does not exist on either side. Well, maybe not the fence... but I piss off liberals, too.
I am a liberal/anarchist/democrat/socialist/libertarian on all issues put together- which doesn't make sense...
but it does at the same time.

MUSIC IS MY LIFE!!!! I'm a rabid skinny puppy fan.
I recently almost cried when I found out they weren't coming to PGH this tour.... but then I got to see them in CLEVELAND AND IT WAS AWESOME.
COIL has recently become the first band to draw me in to an extent that is equivalent to Skinny Puppy... Too bad I am a few years too late...

However, I like all kinds of music: industrial, AGGRO, EBM, dark synth, powernoise,coldwave, break-core, goa, gabber, breakbeats, experimental jungle, drum n bass, punk, cyber punk, trip hop, real hip hop, experimental metal, classical, IDM, I could go on forever. Basically anything that isn't gangster [aka gangsta for those of you who don't speak english] rap or new country. Recently I have been super obsessed with Venetian Snares and other experimental -electronic,breakcore, idm blah blah whatever you call it- artists and have also been listening to a lot of power electronics.

I had a sweet music list here that probably took me about 6 hours with links and bands. But, suprise suprise, the lovely myspace profile editing page destroyed it... So, I offer you this:

Movies:

Almost anything by Takashi Miike...

Psychological thrillers. Eastern Asian (esp Japanese and South Korean) horror, sci fi, drama. Anything that makes me think. Anything funny or witty is always also a plus.

Television:

When it comes to TV, I am pretty much a geek...

I like animal planet, discovery (especially discovery health), comedy central... I don't watch TV much these days though.
