Scorcese, Kubrick (2001 Space Odyssey and The Shining are some of my favs), Polanski (The Tenant is one of my favs), Francis Ford Coppola, Oliver Stone, Spike Lee, Sergio Leone, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Spirited Away (I love pretty much all styles of animation, as long as there is a strong plot), Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars, Batman Begins (thought it was excellent), Kill Bill--most of Tarantino's works, any good martial arts flick, Neverending Story, The Last Unicorn (all other children favs)
I appreciate dark twisted sick humor, i. e. American Psycho. I suppose I like a lot of horrior films, come to think of it.In my opinion, the medium of film is the highest art form, I love any good ("good" is purely subjective) movie/film.
