I like visiting Castles, Cathedrals and old graveyards. I've been to Europe like 12 times, it's my favorite place to visit.

Architecture, esp Medieval, Gothic, Baroque, European.
Art, classical, Romantic, Pre-Raphaelite. My Favorite artist is John Williams Waterhouse and my favorite painting is "The Lady Of Shalott" Most of his subject matter for painting comes from mythology and poetry.
Here is some of his work, including my favorite painting.
..
Animals and nature. I'm getting very upset about the plight of Polar Bears right now. Something must be done. I have given to animal charities (and the American Red Cross too!) in the past (when I can afford it). Recently I adopted a Polar Bear through Defenders of Wildlife.
Do we really want this to go extinct? NO!
Adopting a Polar Bear is only $25.00 for a year. You can also adopt Wolves, Panthers, Penguins and other endangered animals. I might be broke, but I feel really good about doing this, and plan to adopt an animal every year. Defenders Of Wildlife

BUT anyway...I'm not looking to "hook up." Please don't bother contacting me if that's your intention. I just want to keep in touch with my friends who are scattered far and wide. Here are some of my far flung metal friends (Miss a lot of you terribly, kiss kiss):
If I don't know you already, please don't be surprised if you do not get a reply from me. I'm a little too busy to spend hours and hours and days and days here like most of the crazies on here. I repeat, I'm just looking for my friends. (Seems like this is the only way to get in touch with them) I'm pretty anti-social these days, and I LIKE IT THAT WAY!
"It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn't, because they were holding onto something ... That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for!" -Peter Jackson, Fran Jackson and Phillipa Boyens.
Home is behind
The world ahead.
And there are many paths to tread.
Through shadow,
To the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight
Mist and shadow,
Cloud and shade.
All shall fade
All shall...fade.
And that was the Professer again...

the Lord Of The Rings trilogy is the BEST MOVIE EVER MADE. 'NUFF SAID.
Just saw The Dark Knight, it was fabulous, amazing, but disturbing and dark. One of the most intense movies I have ever seen. It has easliy moved into my top five favorite movies of all time. It was highly disturbing though. I was so shaken up afterward, I left the theater with tears running from my eyes and actually, phyically shaking. I couldn't drive for ten minutes, I needed to calm myself and stop shaking. Heath Ledger was incredible, his Joker was the most treacherous, evil movie villian since Hannibal Lechter. Absolutely frightening. Kudos to Gary Oldman and Aaron Eckhardt also, great performances. the story was profound and engaging and the special FX stupendous. the movie had everything, action, edge of your seat suspense, good character development, heartbreak, horror, triumph and tragedy. You run the whole gammit of emotions while watching it, but alas, it does NOT end well so you feel sad at the end.Braveheart, Almost Famous, Pirates of the Caribbean 1 & 2, ANYTHING with Johnny Depp, Legends Of The Fall, The Crow, Se7en, Seven Years In Tibet,The Lost Boys, Forest Gump, King Kong, Last Samurai, Sid & Nancy, Hero, Star Wars (mostly all)The Red Violin, A Beautiful Mind, Platoon and JFK, WWII films, Saving Private Ryan, Enemy At The Gates, A Bridge Too Far, The Longest Day, Interview With A Vampire, The Omen (Is anyone else as pissed off as me that someone thought they could remake this????) The Name Of The Rose, Harry Potter's, Casulties of War, Scarface, Bourne Identity, Charley & The Chocolate Factory. And so many more I can't list them all! (I would be here all day, in fact, I HAVE been here all day, and I want off this damn computer!)
And Da Vinci Code WAS NOT EVEN HALF AS BAD AS THOSE CRITICS MADE IT OUT TO BE! I liked it, a lot. You have to remember, it's an intellectual thriller, not an action thriller. And it's very bookish and wordy, but if the subject interests you, you just might learn something!
Recent Pretty decent:
V for Vendetta,
United 93,
March Of The Penguins,
Serenity,
Memoirs Of A Geisha,
Cinderella Man,
Stage Beauty,
The Libertine,
The Brothers Grimm,
National Treasure.
And I like period/history pieces, even when they're not really very good! These I think are worth seeing:Kingdom Of Heaven,
Troy,
Alexander,
Beowulf and Grendel,
Luther,
Tristain and Isolde.

This Tarot card is very fitting for me these days! Click the link below and see what card you are!
You Are Death
You symbolize the end, which can be frightening.
But you also symbolize the immortality of the soul.
You represent transformation, rebirth of a new life.
Sweeping away the past is part of this card, as painful as it may be.
Your fortune:
Don't worry, this card does not predict death itself.
Instead it foreshadows the ending of an era of your life, one that is hard to let go of.
But with the future great new things will come, and it's time to embrace them.
Mourn for a while, but then face the future with humility and courage.
What Tarot Card Are You?
You scored as Black Metalist. You love black metal the most, you like to study a lot about paganism, atheistsm and satanism, you are intelligent and know that devil worship is gay, you are also intelligent in making your own point of views especially in religion and politics.
