About Me

I have been in the music business side of things for 13 years now. I started out doing college radio, back at good ol' Camden County College in Blackwood, New Jersey (Thanks to Laurie). I was both music director and a DJ. The name of the show was The Metal Hospital, with yours truly, Nurse Erin. I did my first US tour in 1997, followed by a Euro run and quickly gained a passion for life on the road. I worked for some local Philly labels until 1998 when I got offered a job at Century Media Records in Dortmund, Germany. I picked up and left the cest pool that is NJ (hey, I'm from there.. I can say that!) and headed across the pond to Europe. After 2 and a half years in the office, I felt I'd learned what I could at CM and left to start a label with 2 guys from Finland. Well, after a year of success, my one business partner up and fled with our profit causing us to file bankruptcy. Ya live and ya learn, right? Whilst working at CM, I had done some odd touring throughout Europe with various bands and decided to go back to this after the Finnish label bombed. Currently, I have a production company called I'm With the Band Productions, together with two of my dearest friends. I manage a few bands (Darkane, Vomitory, The Defaced, Kayser and most recently, Dark Day Sunday, featuring Frank Aresti from one of my all time favorite bands Fates Warning!!)) and I'm on tour approximately 9 months a year as both a merchandiser and tour manager for various bands (well over 100, such as Opeth, Dark Funeral, Vader and Finntroll to name a mere few, but consistant regulars and I've done easily over 60 tours). Now, I reside mostly on a tour bus, and split my off time between Sweden, with my honey, Germany, where I have an apartment and NJ, my true home. Check the blog section for my tour updates and the best places to catch me. Hopefully catch you on the road someday!THE FOLLOWING SLIDESHOW CONSISTS OF PICTURES FROM THE LAST DARKANE EUROPEAN TOUR WITH SADUS AND GORY BLISTER. ALL FRAMED PHOTOS APPEAR COURTESY OF LAURENT GAMEIRO AND WERE TAKEN AT LA LOCOMOTIVE IN PARIS. ALL OTHER PHOTO'S ARE FROM ADRY FROM GORY BLISTER. My Interests

Obviously music is a huge passion of mine as it's what I've based my career on, however being on the road nearly all year tends to jade me a bit. My main interest outside of music is movies. I'm a complete and total movie buff! Anything Tim Burton, Tarrantino, horror, comedies... you name it! I love hockey (GO FLYERS!!!). I enjoy cooking (but not cleaning), hanging at the local Irish Pub, sitting down with a cup of cappuccino and reading my Empire magazine, Lush, Lush, Lush, shopping at Lush.... and Lush. I'm very much into body art. I'm working on both sleeves, although the right arm is soon to be finished. I also have the majority of my legs done, a full back piece, and a lizard around my navel. 18 piercings as well, although where they are will remain a mystery... unless you ask. My new obsession is with faeries and goblins. I'm working on a sleeve dedicated to Brian Froud's work, as well as some fantasy work done by Samuli from Finntroll. There's also a small tribute to Mr. Jack Skellington and Miss Sally on my forearm to coincide with the fantasy theme.

I'd like to meet:

I've had the extreme pleasure of meeting several of the people I had always wanted to meet. The music world is covered, as I think if I were to meet any of my remaining musical heros, it would surely jade me to the point of no return. There's a few literary and artistic heroes whose brains I wouldn't mind picking and I'm obsessed with the movie world . So with that in mind, I would love to have a lunch date with each of the following: Gary Oldman, Johnny Depp, Napolean Dynamite (the character, not the actor. He's flippin' sweet!) , Tim Burton, Brian and Wendy Froud, Christofer Golden, Poppy Z. Brite, Conan O'Brien, Howard Stern, Dr. McDreamy (the character, not the actor), Desmond Harrington, Skeet Ulrich, Johnny Depp, the entire cast and crew of The Empire Strikes Back (you know, it's a little know fact that Cliff Claven, aka, John Ratzenburger is in that film),General Zod, so I could kneel before him... not that way, you freakin' perverts..Kevin Smith, Johnny Depp, Edward Norton, Quentin Tarrentino, Adam Sandler, Winona Ryder, Drew Barrymore, Rosario Dawson, did I mention Johnny Depp? The man's a genius.. and he's fairly easy on the eyes, know what I'm saying? So if you are any of the above named, feel free to drop me a line... and if you're not... well, give it a go anyway.NOTE: Due to the overwhelming band requests that I get, I will no longer be accepting bands that I don't know. If you're interested in booking, management, or anything business related, please feel free to send me a mail via here. Alternatively, I am happy to add bands to my comany's myspace page. Please visit the I'm With the Band My Space page, or visit our website at www.imwitheband.com for any business related queries. Also, if you're TRUELY interested in being my "friend" and I don't already know you, please drop me a quick mail introducing yourself. Thanks!

I'll pretty much watch anything. I'm a serious couch potato in my off time.

Books:

Any and all Brian Froud, Christofer Golden, Laurell K. Hamilton, Poppy Z. Brite, Jonathan Nasaw, and Kelley Armstrong.

Heroes:

Definitely my mom. She's a beautiful, woderful, corageous woman and I wouldn't be the person I am today without her. Also, each and every one of my close friends (you know who you are). Each one has touched my heart in a special way and I'm the luckiest girl alive to have these people in my life. They've saved me countless times and for that, they are my heroes.
