My Interests

MAN'S SEARCH FOR MEANING
| View Show | Create Your OwnCONSCIENTIOUS LIVING I'm deeply devoted to learning more about coking, wines, gardening and being the best mom I can to my dogs (RIP, BG -- there will be another furry baby when the hole in my heart heals!!) LATINA PRIDE!!

TEXAS PRIDE!!!

NEW YORK CITY PRIDE!!

I'd like to meet:

FIRST AND FOREMOST: PEOPLE WHO READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But I'd also like to meet folks who are spiritually aware, fully engaged, walking the talk in all aspects of their life . . . native Spanish or German speakers who'll suffer my sophomoric syntax in their language . . . nature lovers who prefer animals to humans . . . folk who share their knowledge and assist me in my quest to become more adept culinarily and more evolved in my appreciation of wines . . . yoga practitioners more concerned about prana than how their ass looks in their jeans . . . gardeners and small-scale farmers . . . US expats or Spaniards who can provide insight into the process of how I'm going to make this dream of relocating a reality . . . . JUST NORMAL, DECENT PEOPLE WHO ARE INTELLECTUALLY, POLITICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY ALIVE!!!

Music:

While I can still generate passion for anything relative to classical music, I'm totally burned on out everything relative to metal -- after attending hundreds of shows annually for almost 30 years, I think anybody in their right mind would be!! Still, being a metal burn-out doesn't prevent me from talking copius quantities of shit about metal and myriad morons who play it at www.laplandmetal.com OR occasionally dragging my carcass out to a show to see my boyfriend's bands or catch up with old friends

Movies:

DOCUMENTARIES AND FOREIGN FILMS, ONLY -- POR FAVOR!!!I use movies the same way I use books -- as a tool for understanding other people's realities. Pedro Almodóvar is my favorite director, followed closely by Alejandro González Iñárritu

Television:

DESTROY YOUR TV - IT *IS* ROTTING YOUR MIND!!!

The Ordinary, the Extraordinary and the Miraculous

I find myself not having much patience to sit in front of the keyboard and discuss the things going on in my life these last few weeks. I would attribute this to the overwhelmingly negged-out state o...
