Necrophobic was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1989. In differ to the death metal scene at that time, Necrophobic was influenced by band’s such as Bathory, Slayer, Morbid Angel, Venom...band’s with darker and more evil sounding music and image.
Necrophobic has a strong vision on how the music, and the atmosphere surrounding it all, shall be like. The band has never compromised with that vision to gain popularity and by sticking to that, their fan base has grown stronger and stronger for every year.
