Fatalis is a power metal band with old school influences. Their lyrics cover everything from existentialism, historical references, to epic fantasy and mythology.
Vocalist Lance Zielinski imparts thoughtful and melodic lyrical content. Lead guitarist Rafael Gelpi brings back the stylistic shredding that has long been missing in today's metal. Lead guitarist Rich Nakatsu tears it up with intricate solos and complex guitar riffs. Bassist Danny Maggard lays down complex bass riffs to counterpoint guitar melodies. Drummer John Hernandez has stepped up to lay some progressive and heavy beats.
Fatalis plans to continue focusing on a power metal style, blending old school metal with progressive rhythms and riffs that will make the band stand out among its peers. The end result should be a very unique and enthralling sound that will leave you very eager to hear more.
