Hey there. My name's Jane, I'm 22, and I'm a singer/songwriter. In a nutshell, I started writing songs because I had a lot on my mind and needed an outlet. I grew up playing the piano and picked up the guitar a few years ago. I write, produce, and play all my own stuff. There's a whole slew of female "music artists" out there who have no concept of actual music, songwriting, or instruments...and let's just say it annoys me ever so slightly...
I've always been an avid fan of many different types of artists/bands and love many genres: Rock, Electronica, Folk, Pop, Industrial, Experimental, Trip-Hop, Acoustic, Hip Hop, Alternative, Indie, Goth, R&B, Jazz, Metal, Classical......yeah, I'm random like that. I see no reason to limit myself and the music I listen to/ create based on pre-existing categories.
I also sing lead for a very talented 5-piece rock band called 'the Otherwise' . MAKE SURE TO CHECK US OUT!! You'll like it.
