DJ R2 made his first hands into the electronic music scene in late 1996. He started out with hip-hop and Freestyle roots from Afrika Bambaataa, Grand Master Flash to Kool Moe Dee, Stevie B, Rockell, Cynthia, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam. He first experimented with different type of breaks from Nu-skool, Trancey, Old Skool and Electro Breaks until he found that certain breakbeat that moved his soul Vocalistic Breaks with the Old Skool feel.Aside from Breaks and Hip-Hop, he also plays the likes of Drum N Bass and House.He has spun in many clubs and one-time events all along the West Coast (Washington, Oregon, California). He has spun alongside some of the top djs in the industry, such as Josh the Funky One, Omar Santana, Kevin Energy (UK), Jon Doe (UK), Huda Hudia, Gumbee, Sharaz, DJ Craze and the list goes on.On the production side, he is currently working on various projects which will be released in the near future.
