DJ MARKY-D has mixed and played Garage for about 10 years. He started by listening to his brother mix tracks by the likes of Tuff Jam, Todd Edwards and Stanton Warriors. He's played alongside the UK's top artists: DJ EZ, Matt 'Jam' Lamont, Mike 'Ruff Cut' Lloyd, Wesley Jay, Street Boy, Rat Pack, Artful Dodger, Masterstepz, Heartless Crew, DJ Luck, DR Pysco, Maddnes, Ramsey & Fen and a whole host more.MARKY-D's style is very distinct. He is a DJ who takes mixing to new levels. Mixing vocals with basslines, creating a one track sound just by going places many other DJ's would'nt dare! His trade mark while being on sub jam, was mixin several different tracks over the 'Hit em with the high' acappella! He used to get special requests just to do that style of mixing, every show!DJ MARKY-D has been on more than one pirate radio station, Rise fm and SUB JAM 104.7. But due to legal risks DJ MARKY-D found it in his best interests not to be on pirate radio. When DJ MARKY-D was on radio he had a very large audience, with a more than busy phone line!
