Neon Strobe Union

I'm a drummer for a local cover band here in Richmond, Virginia called the Illbillys. We have a knack for "B" side covers or the "lessor played" I enjoy playing music with my band but wanted to try some original music on the side to see what the final product would be and to create my own music. I decided to call my solo project the "NEON STROBE UNION"....it's just what I ended up with and it kind of stuck. It definitely smells like some rock-a-billy, surf, reverb, twang, alt-country rock and garage influences. I'm working on a few more songs to post and hope to one day put together a band in order to play out and test the waters, however I get a bit anxious & nervous when it comes to stepping out in front ..........I'm finally realizing that I'm incredibly inspired from the memphis sound that came to rise from the Sun Record Company family and all influenced by it. I love the movement, sound, & style. I hope you will give it a listen and also PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSIC SCENE, Richmond VA has some great bands!
