Jefferson & Adams

Time will run back and fetch the Age of Gold.

About Me

Jefferson & Adams is the songwriting duo of Dan Sessler and Hobby Wright. Dan & Hobby worked together in the early 90's peddling vintage guitars at Metro Sound at 117 W. Broad in between Jefferson & Adams streets in Richmond, Virginia. In the time that's passed the guys have put their hard earned pawn shop street-smarts to good use building careers but the music never stopped.Fast forward to the end of 2006 when Hobby and Dan decided to join their talent and dedication to the purpose of creating original songs that are steeped in the essential elements of American music: Blues, Soul, Classic Rock, Funk and a little bit of folk. Lyrically, the "Grease Brothers" keep it real. J&A are inspired by the sacred and the profane with an angelic quest for truth and a devilish sense of humor. Now you can see Hobby and Dan performing some of this music in their band The Dirty Truth. Their handful of performances thus far have been well received for their professionalism, energy and ability to deliver their original work and select covers with authority/ conviction and of course some greasy guitar work.Keep checking this page for fresh material. And please support the local music scene by going to see a live show: you might be surprised by what's going on in your back-yard, so-to-speak.
