Playing guitar, jamming whenever I can with interesting people, dancing, painting, doodling on notebook paper, learning new instruments (by the way, I'm looking for a sitar so message me if you know where to get one). Any kind of art I can get my hands on. Self improvement, meditation, yoga, teaching (because through teaching I learn).
Creative open people with similar interests. Musicians, artists, excentric, odd, out of the box people.

I only watch television if there is something to learn from a program. Discovery Channel, Travel Channel...even then I cant stant commercials so I rarely watch.
Siddhartha, The Golden Compass, Anything by Toni Morrison, The Namesake, The Profit, Jitterbug Perfume, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Nickle and Dimed, Plato - Symposium, Celestine Prophecy, On the Road, Slaughter House 5, Anything by Tom Robbins especially Still life with Woodpecker, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Silent Spring, Zen Guitar, anything by Rabindranath Tagore, I like philosophy books, and historical texts. I also read a lot of novels which I devour like literary candy. I love diving into a book and then realizing that I've been lost in words on a page for hours and my eyes feel like they are going to fall out of my head. I guess I'm kind of a dork.
Anyone who doesn't let our backward society make them unhappy with themselves. Anyone who overcomes problems with strength instead of self-pity. Our society is too keen on putting us into little boxes where we are slaves to our things, our cars, cell phones, morgages, ect... I think it takes a strong person to say, "Fuck this shit, I'm going to live my life instead of working for something that doesn't mean anything." That person is my hero.
