The Bones Brothers

About Me

In the year 2003, down by the river in South Bend Indiana, the Bones Brothers were born to help keep alive the true spirit of Rock'N'Roll. Joe, Dan,and James Earl Bones are all seasoned musicians that have performed throughout North America. The Bones Brothers perform new original music that draws from the musical traditions of folk, rock, punk, metal, and blues. Having been influenced by such legendary live bands as The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Ramones, Pink Floyd, The Butthole Surfers, Guns N'Roses, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience, each show is different than the next. In the fall of 2006,they tracked the majority of their long awaited debut album at Clava Studios in Chicago with Andy Bosnak engineering (myspace.com/andybosnak)The remaining tracking, plus mixing and mastering was done by Andy at The Playground in Chicago. This amazing studio is owned by Keith Cleversley(who's worked with the Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev, Spiritualized, The Sound Of Urchin, Hum). The record is called "Life, Death & Fairweather Friends" and was released on October 2nd, 2007. Committed to making each show better than the last, the Bones Brothers vow to never let a Rock'N'Roll fan down.
