I am studying at the Purcell School of Music and the Royal College of Music, Junior Department with Prof. Daphne Boden. I am principle harpist of the Royal College of Music's Symphony Orchestra and the London School's Symphony Orchestra. I have recently attended master-classes with Marisa Robles, Imogen Barford and Catherine Michel.
I have appeared twice on Maltese Television, one of which was live on an Easter programme and was twice interviewed on Radio. In England, HTW presented a short feature about me in March 2003 and BBC Points West in October 2003. HTV featured my tour of Malta and presented it in their local news. Anne Marie Minhall from Classic fm was also present and I was later interviewed on Classic FM.
I have performed at the following venues as a soloist and/or a member of an orchestra or choir; Hatfield House, Houses of Parliament, Westminster, Westminster Cathedral, A Diplomatic reception at a Malta High Commission for Malta Day 2001, Guildhall Bath, Gozo, Malta, the Speaker's House at Westminster, St.Catherine's College, Cambridge, Mayfair Hilton, Park Lane at SPARKS Winter Ball2003/2004 held under the patronage of Princess Michael of Kent, Christie's Auction Rooms,The Isouard Hall, Manoel Theatre, (Malta), Chiswick House, Reception at the Hurlingham Club, San Anton Palace (Malta, in the presence of His Excellency Dr Edward Fenech Adami, President of Malta and Mrs Fenech Adami), Kensington Palace (at a reception hosted by Princess Michael), St James’ Piccadilly, The Concert Hall in Poole, The Leeds Town Hall. The Birmingham Symphony Hall. The Queen Elizabeth Hall, St John’s in Smith Square, LSO St. Lukes, The Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, The Royal College of Music, St. Alban’s Cathedral, Carpenters’ Hall, St. Luke’s Church in Chelsea, Cadagon Hall, The Barbican Hall, several venues around Northern and Central Italy including Salo’, Stresa, Vicenza and Lake Garda and several venues in the Baltic states.
In February 2004, I won the Gordon Turner Memorial Harp Competition at the Royal College of Music, Junior Department which was judged by International Harpist Marisa Robles. A month later, I was presented with the Harp trophy at the Richmond-upon-Thames Arts Festival and was a finalist in the Richmond Young Musician Contest. In June 2005, I was the winner of the Marjorie Humby Memorial Competition at the RCM (JD).
In 2002, I was invited to meet His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, at Highgrove. In the same year I was received by His Excellency Dr Guido DeMarco, President of Malta. Both occasions were in recognition for my various recitals for charitable causes
In November 2005 I participated in various concerts and receptions during Her Majesty's State visit and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Malta.
I have recently performed my debut concerto at the Barbican (London), playing the Debussy Danses with the London School's Symphony Orchestra and a solo recital at the Wigmore Hall.
This July I travelled to Amsterdam where I performed at the 10th World Harp Congress in front of a panel of distinguished, international harpists including Susan MacDonald, Daphne Boden, Helga Storck, Anna Levina and Willy Postma.
At the end of this month I am traveling to Spain and Portugal with the LSSO with whom I will be performing the first movement of the Ginastera harp concerto.
In September I shall start my studies at the Royal College of Music to continue learning with Prof. Daphne Boden.
