About Me

I go to the Purcell school of Music, Watford, and am in my final year studying with Simon Colam, Steve Waterman, Darren Altman and Kev Hathaway. In September 08 I am going up to study at Birmingham Conservatoire with Andrew Bain. I also go to the Royal Academy on saturdays for a spot of jazz with Nick smart. People I have worked with include Kenny Wheeler, Brad Webb, Liam Noble, Mark Lockheart, Martin France, Pete Beament, Roland Sutherland, Felix Gonzarlez, Neal Thornton, Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, NASH Ensemble, John Paricelli, The Perfect houseplants, Paul Clavis, Nigel Shipway, Keith Miller, Mike Baker and some other people too... Places I have played at include Buckingham Palace, LSO St. Lukes, Saddler’s Wells, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Pizza Express Dean Street, Ronnie Scotts, Clivedon, St. John’s Smith Square, Wigmore Hall and more... Classically, I gig lots with orchestras of all sorts, in many different places. For jazz, I have a residence most Sunday’s and the Crown and Anchor pub in Shoreham-on-sea with a quartet made up of a composer (Clem Rooney), a classical violinist(Loz Harrison), a penny whistle/sax/anything player (Sam Healey) and myself...obviously not that line up though. Its nice (when sunny and warm) and comes with free beer, free food and money.
