knitting, spinning, skating, art, bad movies, sleeping, tea, scooters, gardens, ghost hunting, thinking nasty thoughts, and other junk too.
I'd like to meet:
Just about anyone. Unless you're only wanting to friend me because you're a band I've never heard of or are otherwise trying to spam me. Spam is pretty gross...all that jelly goo clinging to the outside. ewwww.
That said, here are some advertisments for an event I'm planning to attend and other sites of which I highly approve:
YARN SCHOOL 2007 Spinning & Dyeing Workshop & Retreat in Harveyville, Kansas September 27- 30, 2007

Music:
Some weenie who telemarketing called me for BMG music asked if I was sure "modern rock" was my category because I said "Ewwww. No." when offered a free Creed CD.
Movies:
I've been watching all of "The Thin Man" movies on DVD from Netflix lately. I love how Nick drinks CONSTANTLY and never gets drunk or even tipsy and Nora just laughs when people make fun of her hat at the wrestling match or when she's introduced to guys with names like "Spider" Webb and a guy named "Meatballs" gives her a free hotdog as a wedding gift. I hate their ugly little dog though.
I think we're gonna go see that new Bourne movie soon.
Television:
I like Television. I watch more than I probably should. I'm pretty bothered that Sci-Fi Channel canceled Dresden Files, and I'm sad that Flash Gordon SUCKED, but I'm looking forward to checking out Bionic Woman, Moonlight, Pushing Daisies, Reaper, Californication, and Big Bang Theory. There is also still Heroes, Amazing Race, Medium, Desperate Housewives, Lost, Wife Swap, House, Nip/Tuck, Bones, CSI, and a new season of Dr. Who and Torchwood to look forward to. I also like ghosty documentary things like the "A Haunting" series on Discovery Channel. Oh, and thanks to Amazon Unbox I finally got to see season 2 of Supernatural. Now they need to make quick with getting season 6 of Smallville up there.
Books:
I have a LOT of books. Remember when I mentioned the "yarn room"? We also have a "book room". Right now I'm reading several different true ghost story/haunting books. I highly suggest you read "Night Stalks The Mansion". I couldn't put that thing down. I just got "The Watchmen" and "I Am Legend", so I'll be reading those shortly too in preparation for the movies coming out.
I also want to read about Tom Slick Jr., who was this crazy millionaire guy in the 50's who spent a large part of his fortune going around the world in search of bigfoot, the loch ness monster, etc. He was friends with Jimmy Stewart and Howard Hughes and he did a lot of cool things. He died at the age of 46 in a car or plane accident. I can't remember which. Oddly, his dad Tom Slick, Sr. also died at 46. He was the man they loosly based the character Jett Rink (James Dean's part) on in the movie Giant.
Heroes:
Batman, Spiderman, and Fox Mulder.
