About Me

You'll find that I'm rather friendly and evidently humorous. Besides my family and friends, the paranormal and independent endeavors are a couple of the things that I care about.

I am a co-host of a long running internet talk show called Ghostly Talk. If you haven't heard it, check it out ! It's a weekly independent internet and airwave based talk show about the paranormal that we do on Sunday nights from 6pm to 9pm eastern time.

The talk show has really brought focus to my life. I travel a lot during the spring, summer, and fall because of opportunities that present themselves through the show. We (the "GT contingent") go to conferences and investigation sites a couple weekends per month. This traveling does get to be a bit much sometime, but I love meeting and talking to people at such events.

My Interests

Everything paranormal, independent endeavors (music, film, podcasts, etc.)

I'd like to meet:

Being rather friendly and approachable, I try to meet many folks at the conferences and events I attend throughout the year. And so far, I've found people to be amazing!

Music:

If it's indie, I'll love it. If I don't love it, I'll still say I love it because it's indie. My own tastes lean toward folk music, oldies, and '80s dance/pop, but I'll listen to anything and everything indie.

Movies:

The movie challenge: try and make a movie that moves me! I love to get caught up in the fun of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Comedies are my fav, followed by sci-fi/fantasy, but a tearjerker here and there will get me.

Television:

Thank heavens for Ghost Hunters on SciFi! Paranormal related TV, science fiction, and the fun real-people shows like Trading Spaces would tend to be on my tube. (Note there's a huge difference between "real-people shows" and whatever Endemol and Endemol wannabes are putting out this week.)

DDR

Wow!  DDR is really a challenge.  To me it looks boring, but when you're playing it you really have to pay attention and try to get in the groove.  I sense very frequent showers are in ...

Goals

Since last Friday (May 25th) I've lost 8 and a half pounds.  I had lost an unknown amount of weight the week before. Of course, it's easy to set lofty goals now that I've seen measurable success....

The renovation is under way

Two weeks ago today, on May 17th 2007, I had either a nervous breakdown or a brief encounter with my midlife crisis.  Most folks when they have something like this at my age would get a sportscar...
