NY vs. NJ

This page was made by New Jerseyans for New Jerseyans to let the world know that The State of NY has sadly opposed the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) registration for the "I LOVE NJ" trademark. NY State has continued to oppose the logos made by anyone who shows love for ANYTHING other than their state of NY. This even includes their opposing such logos as I (heart) "America," "God," "USA," "Porn," "Cheese," and "My Dog." We're all of the opinion here that we should be allowed to Love WHATEVER WE WANT...including NJ. Any second grader can tell you that there's a big difference between a "Y" and a "J." As the "I LOVE NJ" logo continues to be opposed by NY's high-priced lawyers, ya gotta wonder what NY's taxpayers think about all of this...? How would having a registered "I LOVE NJ" trademark cause customer confusion if they are two different states? Fact is, "I LOVE" is public domain. NY State has to get over themselves.
