My Interests

Music:

Band Members: For right now, just me. I had some awesome musicians work with me on the album, but right now we are all pretty far apart. I'm hoping that soon it will be possible to bridge some gaps and get a band together again, but until then lots of love and best of the luck to all of my wonderful musician friends. Here's to living the poor mans dream.
Influences: Everything from punk to gospel. So long as it's good music I can appreciate it. Some of the people that have directly influenced my music are; Ben Harper, Jewel, Sheryl Crow, Yellowcard, Jack Johnson, & man... I could go on for days. Also, all of the artist that I have been lucky enough to perform with. I feel like every great musician I have come in contact with has in some way been an influence. Even if all I learned from them is what not to do.
Sounds Like: I hear it sounds like a mix of jewels older more folksy music, and some of the newer poppier artists like Michelle Branch. It definately has its own sound. So its hard to compare it to any one popular artist out there today. You'll just have to hear it for yourself and see. If you like it and want to purchase a cd just go to http://cdbaby.com/cd/sarad .
Record Label: Electric Cowboy Studios, Bakersfield CA (for now)
Type of Label: Indie

Ahhh... finally at peace

It's amazing how just one pluck on my guitar can make the whole world disappear. That just a finely shaped hunk of wood and steel could take away all of the pain and confusion in life, and turn i...
