The Culture Synthetic

My name is TJ Arriaga and I write all the music and vocals. The Culture Synthetic is a project that I have invisioned for some time as an outlet for my music, thoughts, and observations. Island is actually taken from an hour long improvised guitar and vocal jam that i recorded in my bedroom. I added a background vocal track and a drum track to my favorite section of the free style jam and left it at that. There is something about the raw unrefinedness of Island that made me choose to share it first...Hope you enjoy what you hear. OUR CULTURE IS NO LONGER INHERITED AND DISTLLED FROM OUR ANCESTORS, OR HERITAGE, BUT RATHER ABSORBED THROUGH MASS MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION... WE ARE THE CULTURE SYNTHETIC.
