What is built, endures. And what is loved, endures.

About Me

It's on those non-sleepwalking days, when I find myself thrust fully awake into screaming consciousness that things become far more interesting in 'deed.' I really like those days. I need more of them. And a really good cup of coffee.
On the matter of my interests; I've exhibited in and organized the occassional art show, most recently co-creator of the experimental music and art event called Noise. Water. Meat. , with Richard Vergez , Giselle Zatonyl , Ariana! van Gelder , which featured several emerging and talented artists. In university I studied fine art, dabbled in cognitive science, and dug the dirt of several archaeological sites from under my nails; particularly from California, the Great Basin area of Nevada, and the Simpson Desert in Australia. I hosted a college radio show for several years called Substrate, wherein I played 'alternative', 'underground' and experimental music and featured interviews with a variety of visual and performance artists. I've worked in production, television and film to varying degrees since I was in my teens, and ran a small commercial studio of my own for a time as well. I can also roll a mean database. I love antiques, family heirlooms, fine absinthe, and handcrafted funeral coaches. I never find enough time to read as much as I would like to.
I am also the father of a young boy named Genesis Sebastian; the most amazing human being I have ever known in my life.
We're going to party like it's 1899!
