About Me

Our somewhat supersemicool and fairly reasonably priced CD "Still Life" is now available from CDBaby http://www.cdbaby.com/ellisreed/

An interesting offering of eclectic amplified acoustic music with roots in folk influenced by rock with touches of bluegrass and a little blues. The key to the E.R. sound is to not let the technology used to deliver the content color it to the point of automatically assigning the creative effort to a default genre where tone generated by the instruments is a source to feed the post processing which could in turn become a major part of the creative process.

That is not us.

Here at Ellis Reed, the wood comes though, it is not lost in the jungle of wires that delivers the sound to you. Wood is the heart, steel is the strength, skin shouts the beat as the air delivers the melody of this Ellis Reed band.a target=hl href="
