Touring the world w/ poetry & music playing the sidewalks and subways, mountaintops & freeways & occasional bars, cafes & festivals, Daniel Collins has been writing and performing original songs since 1989. Coming up in the punk rock scene during the 80s, he incorporated influences from a wide variety of genres as the years passed.He's been featured on the Gene Shay folk show on WXPN, as well as Radio Volta and UPENN Radio WQHS; recent gigs have included the Khyber, Tritone, Grape Street, The Hinge Cafe, Connie's Ric Rac, and the Tin Angel.Lullabye, the latest record, features 7 original songs and a rendition of Iron & Wine's "Radio War". The next release, scheduled for the summer of 2007, features drummer Tom Collins (Hot Socky, Kitty in the Tree), the bass-lines & production genius of Tom Spiker (Its A Pleasure Productions), and a host of guest musicians.
