About Me

The space programme in Scotland has been slightly disappointing, all in all. Over in Fife, a handful of enthusiasts launch the occasional 2 metre missile but, other than alarming passengers on package holiday flights, little contact with extra terrestrials has so far been established. ____________________________________________________________ _______________ One of the most interesting books that i have read in recent years has been Andrew Smith's Moondust, giving the true, skin of the teeth, stories behind the Apollo missions, and documenting conversations with those of the moonwalkers still living. Besides the awe-inspiring stories of the missions, there are occasional moments of humour - such as when Buzz Aldrin has had enough with accusations that the landings were faked and hits a reporter - the photograph capturing the event for posterity is described as follows:- "...slightly blurred, he looks like kermit the frog auditioning for the exorcist..." an image that i still struggle to think of without laughing..__________________________________________________ _________________________Many thanks to Bodog Entertainment for enabling me to upload my fifth track
