About Me

I don't just think and live outside the box - I don't have a box. But I'll try to respect yours if you're partial to it.

I'm a cusp baby - between Libra and Scorpio. I think that means I hit intense highs and lows while seeking balance.

I eat vegan, and try to live vegan.

My Interests

This page was intended to be viewed using Firefox, rather than Explorer.
Currently find time for music, movies, reading, gardening, and my dog. Dabble in web design. Need to motivate myself to finish my indoor projects.

I'd like to meet:

Sean Connery, Cameron Crowe, Johnny Depp, Joni Mitchell, Jodi Picoult, J K Rowling, Nancy Wilson (the composer/guitarist/pianist).

CURRENT MOON moon phases

How the current administration has betrayed you.

AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH is now on DVD. If you didn't catch it at theatres, watch the DVD. If you did, buy the DVD for someone else. It's a great investment for your future.

This is a little long, but definitely worth watching. At the end it shows "the single most important image ever taken by humanity."After viewing it you might, perhaps, reevaluate your beliefs on how important humans are in the grand scheme of things. Peace on earth may affect the balance of the Universe, but we are not all that is.

Music:

I like most music except hip hop, rap, and reggae.

Movies:

I like most movies except horror/demonic. Tend to catch anything I think I'll like as soon as it comes out.
Movies I've recently seen:

Lions For Lambs Fred Klaus Martian Child American Gangster Dan in Real Life Things We Lost in the Fire Gone Baby Gone Michael Clayton Mr. Woodcock

Favorite all-time flicks: Elizabethtown, Local Hero, Love Actually.

Television:

American Idol Brothers and Sisters The Closer Heroes House Journeyman Law and Order (all three) Lost Ugly Betty Weeds

Books:

I like to read, especially books written by authors who make me think further on life and strip away more of the veils society lays upon its populus, especially its children. Life is deeper, and entails so much more, than most could ever imagine, let alone believe.
And where is Christopher Paolini's third book? Eragon and Eldest were fabulous!

Heroes:

People who treat animals with respect; people who are helping to undo the damage we have wrought on Earth's environment; Cameron Crowe, who isn't afraid to create his way; J K Rowling, for overcoming her own oppression and introducing the written word to countless young people formerly held hostage by TV and digital imagery; single parents; life long learners; open minded people.
