(what I was up to in November 2007:)
Kill the Spill ! 58,000 gallons of oil dumped in San Francisco bay when the Costco Buson collided with the Bay Bridge. I've been involved in organizing cleanup efforts from day one, and will be travelling making multiple trips between SF and SC in the following weeks in order to help keep those two communities connected and coordinated. It is crucial that cleanup efforts proceed unimpeded by government red tape , as the oil becomes from difficult to remove from the environment as time passes. If you send supplies to me, I will make sure that beach cleaning volunteers receive them. Special thanks to the Santa Cruz chapter of Surfrider for all their help and support.

I'm in this silly movie. Filmed in the forest near Santa Cruz, it's actually a morality play about on American politics and culture disguised as a cheesy horror flick. The ax murderer thinks he's Ronald Reagan and kills hippies tripping on acid. I got to meet David Arquette (he directed it), Paul Reubens (don't call him "Pee-Wee", he doesn't like that), Jamie King, Thomas Jane, and the band Fishbone. It had too much politically hot-button subtext to get into very many theaters, so you should look for it on DVD.
