IT girl! has grooved NYC crowds since the 90’s. Originally, this outfit’s approach was completely improvisational. Among fellow "groove" bands, IT girl! is now considered an idiomatic hybrid of sorts, combining both DJ & Studio culture with the essence of live jamming & vocalization. Their blend of worldly styles contribute largely to this innovative venture. With one live set, the listener is taken
on a trip around the globe. There’s something new with each song yet they maintain a strong continuity. Block-rockin’ beatz & nasty horn lines command audiences to move, while jazzy basslines and hypnotic melodies sway their imagination. Fused with their strong political/social stance,
IT girl! introduces a unique holistic approach for the millennium.
