Former Artistic Director of Live From the Edge Theater, Founder of Upstage Theater Co. & Playwrights PLAYground.
This past fall she Co-Starred with Nelson Vasquez in the upcoming feauture film "Sacred Game", "Lazos" in 2002
In 2005 she received an Hola award with her co-stars for her performance in "Ortiz Sister"
Most recent theater credits include: Carlos J Serrano’s The Ortiz sistersof Mott Haven @ The PuertoRican Traveling Theater, as well as the translation in Puerto Rico this Spring. She toured with Universes’ critically acclaimed "Slanguage" directed by Jo Bonney (National Tour @ Actors Theater of Louisville, New Jersey PAC, Museum of Contemporary Arts Theater in Chicago and other US cities), Kia Corthron’s "Cage Rhythm", Candido Tirado’s "Ilka’sDream", Michael John Garces’ "Now & Then", Fred Rohan Vargas’ "Madrina", Sandra Rodriguez’s "El Solar", Eugene Ianesco’s "The Bald Soprano", Arthur Miller’s "The Crucible", Ntozoke Shange’s "For Colored Girls...", Bronx/Poland exchange of Alfred Jarry’s "UBU Enchained" directed by Steven Sapp and Wieslaw Gorski, "Memoirs of an Warsaw Uprising" also directed by Wieslaw Gorski. She developed and directed Mariposa’s Diasporican Dementia @ New WORLD Theater. She is a member of the sketch comedy troupe Nuyorican Rule.
Wrtting credits include "Hanging with Death" "Marilyn without and I", "El Pato feo" co-wriiten by award winning dancer director Arthur Aviles.
As a dancer she has performed at Central Park Summer Stage with Dance Co. Arthur aviles Typical Theater and at Lincoln center Out of doors festival.
