Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! My name is Rickey; I am an ordained Elder. My Ministry is my passion... My vision and goal for Ministry is to win the lost for Christ. To be a help to those in need. This is what Christ has comissioned us to do as Ministers of His Gospel. I'm young and still learning... I thank God for allowing me to experience the things that I have at such a young age... I am not motivated or moved by denomination.
I am just a normal down to earth guy seeking to fulfill the Will of God in my life.
I'm not perfect, I do make mistakes at times; as we all do; But they only take me higher in my calling. My Mission has been one of Faith and dependence on God for all that I need... Food, clothes, shelter. I am extremely content in life with the little bit that I do have.
I don't desire to become popular or rich... I'm not into the prosperity movement (no offense to anyone), but that is not what God has called me to. I don't desire a Mega-Church or television Ministry. I want to be as much like Christ as possible in my thoughts, my actions and my deeds. It has truly been a battle to get where I am. When you have been called to give up ALL for the sake of the Gospel, the very forces of hell are against you.
I believe that the Church has lost it's zeal for the things of God and has lost sight of its true purpose. Christ said that we would heal the sick and raise the dead, something we rarely see these days. We are to dedicate ourselves WHOLLY to God and forsake all other pursuits... "SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU."
We are not called to be on a pursuit for wealth... If we would just focus on the things of God.... I believe that we would see a Mighty revival and Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.....
Affirmation Of Faith
W e believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
W e believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
W e believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return.
W e believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin, is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.
W e believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
W e believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer.
W e believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who asks for it.
W e believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world, Amen.
