Music Theory is that branch of Music that deals with the principles and methods of making music. Harmony is that branch of music that deals with the simultaneous sounding of three or more notes call chords which are used to accompany a melody in a pleasing and satisfying way.
As a result, We study Theory & Harmony because it makes better musicians than just instrumentalists.
