I'm probably coding right now...

About Me

My name is Noah. I just finished two years of college, taking computer programming. I love coding (programming) and I'm probably doing it right now while you read this. I do mostly contract work though I'd go for a job if it offered the sort of environment I'd like.

I find it really fun to work on projects with friends. Sometimes more art, sometimes more product. I've done stop-motion animation, photography (including developing prints), video editing, drawing, software, websites, and a bunch of other stuff. I used to work in graphic design and have made things from handbills to billboards.

I read the news a lot, and politics is the scariest stuff out there. I have a strange mixture of views, some very liberal and others more conservative. I try to stay grounded but find that truth truly is stranger than fiction. I'm convinced that a pandemic is inevitable in our lifetime and I think that most countries oppress their people to varying degrees. Despite all this, I genuinely believe in the goodness inherant in most people if given the opportunity. I believe strongly in civic responsibility and democratic involvement. I believe that many of our national problems can be solved with better software. But then, I also believe several countries are secretly using scalar weather weapons.

My Interests

I like pinball over arcades. I think religion is funny and politics are scary. I bowl often. I prefer to stay up late. Milkcrates. I have a cat. I like spraying styrofoam pellets at people. Bananabread Eggos. Amateur librarianship. I have a couple tattoos. I'd be very interested in some slot-car racing, or at least a power adapter that'll work with mine.

I'd like to meet:

I like meeting decent people with cool ideas and positive outlooks.

If possible, some day it would be nice to meet Osama Bin Laden's niece:

I would like to meet Chris Elliott, Paul Reubens or Terry Gilliam on a movie set, Steve Cartwright at a developer's conference, "Bob" Dobbs on the pleasure saucers of the sex goddesses...

Somehow, the video above was made about my life.
