Matthew Clay

About Me

Born and raised in the Midwest but there's nothing ordinary about this musician. In the last couple of years Matthew Clay has released a successful independent record on his own, had a National radio hit, worked with a Grammy award winning producer, started a record label, signed 2 bands and produced records for both of them.
Now he is back with Eat Cake his new solo album being released this October on the Freakin Records label. On this record Matthew continues to write those catchy hook driven pop songs that he has become known for. Although he produced and played many of the instruments on the CD himself, listeners will be surprised at some of the guest appearances on this record including members of the metal band Index Case.
The first single on the album is the upbeat guitar based tune, Just To See You Smile. Call you favorite radio station and request it. Check the website for phone numbers.
