About Me

Gypsy Dave & The Stumpjumpers (noun):
(jip-see dave and the stump-jumpers)

Led by a young songwriter and charged by a powerful and artistic band, they’ve been compared to everyone from Arlo Guthrie and Neil Young to alt country heroes Uncle Tupelo. But I wouldn’t be contented to pigeonhole this group. To put it simply, they write and play what they feel. They leave their emotions hanging on the line between the tall oak trees in their yard for everyone to see. Their songs run the gamut, from heartfelt and emotional, to light and at times even playful. It’s a wild ride, and one we’re glad to take. Because at its core it is all of our stories of which they sing: our hopes, our losses, our loves, and our laughter. They’re our voice.
