Hi there. My name is Steve and, as you can see from my page, I am a huge Doctor Who fan.
I was born in North Wales in the mid-Sixties and moved to Hertfordshire when I was 5 and then moved again to North Staffordshire in 1975, where I have lived in various incarnations since.
I became a life-long fan of the Doctor’s whilst watching the classic story, Genesis Of The Daleks. From that moment onwards I have never missed an episode and I am still as enthusiastic about the programme today as I was when I first discovered it all those years ago.
My favourite Doctor is Tom Baker closely followed by Colin Baker (check out his amazing Big Finish audios) and my favourite companion is Romana II, as played by Lalla Ward.
When the original series ended in 1989 I started a local Doctor Who group. We produced our own newsletter and fanzine and were very fortunate to have Colin Baker, Roy Skelton, Richard Franklin & Philip Madoc as Honorary Members. The group ran until 1995 by which time we had organised many events raising money for local and National charities.
My other interests include countryside walking, reading, listening to music (favourite band of all time is R.E.M.) and enjoying a nice pint in my local pub!
Thanks for visiting. I hope you like the page and enjoy the blogs. Take care. Cheers, Steve
