About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Silver Superman

..I'm an actor. I've done voice acting for anime, lots of stage and some independent films and am SAG eligible. I live in Wilmington, NC, where tons of movie and tv production happens. Didn't know that? That's why we're less expensive than NY or LA. Shoot here. You'll be glad you did.
I'm cute, smart and funny, although the order changes from day to day. Oh, and I never apologized for my hobbies or interests once in my life. I'm happy with who I am. Can you say the same?
I like smart, creative and interesting people, in diverse forms and personalities. All the different types of people I hang out with would probably not spend time with each other, truth be told, although it makes me smile to think of the mixed bag of humanity that will be my funeral, in a Tom-Sawyer-looking-from-the-balcony sort of way.
Stupidity and intolerance are dealbreakers with me. Whether it's friendship, or more.
I am a mystery, surrounded by an enigma, wrapped in a twinkie. I am bottomless, unless you count my amazing posterior. I'm a film geek, read a lot, and collect art, sketches and prints. I enjoy science-fiction and fantasy, comics, and animation from all countries. You don't have to be into any of those things to have a conversation with me, because I've kissed a girl before. And More. I have all the social skills of someone expected to walk the earth in the 21st century hailing from a major world power. I'm a geek by interest, not by behavior.

My Interests

follow crusherjoe at http://twitter.com
I like to go in the dollar store and ask how much stuff is. I like to go in the clock shop and ask what time it is. My interests are many and varied. Too many to list here, unless I devote a lot of time to it at a later date. Between the friends I have added and the quizzes and such, you should get a good idea.

I'd like to meet:

what is this? matchmaker?I'd like to meet a lot of people, but they're probably not on this site.As fas as the opposite sex goes: I'll give almost ANY woman the chance to prove to me that she's truly amazing.long term: intelligent, attractive, low maintanence. short term: dumb as a post, attractive, medium maintanence. You may qualify. You might even make it to the semi-finals.But chances are you can't hang.We can still be friends, though.
I've met seven of these folks...

and one day, I'll work with them.

Music:

Blues, oldies, and anything I can dance to. I can put Dvorak's New World Symphony on repeat and listen to it all day. But just as often listening to old time radio or audiobooks.

Movies:

Let's put it this way: I just bought my SECOND shelving unit that holds 360 DVDs. It's not full. Yet.

Television:

I used to try not to watch television, but it seems some quality is creeping back into the medium. I miss Firefly, but have Battlestar Galactica in its absence. I keep up with a handful of shows like Smallville, LOST, or whatever Trek they're forcing on us at the moment. I don't care about Law and Order: Sport Utility Vehicle, or the 42 different CSIs. I'm living Real Life right now, and I don't need to see it on television. Feed my imagination.

Books:

I own over 200 books that I haven't read YET. With the pain of knowing that I will forget someone... Asimov, Card, Ellison, Heinlein, Piper, Niven, Niven-Pournelle, Gaiman, Lovecraft, King, Burroughs, Howard, R.R. Martin, Newman, Zelazny, Conan Doyle, Hillerman, Crais, Hammett, Chandler, Peter David, Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Mark Waid, BMB, BKV, Marv Wolfman, Geoff Johns, James Robinson, Haggard, Stoker, Verne, Welles, L'Engle, Shakespeare, Poe, Rowling, Cussler, Fleming, Leiber and more...
..
..

Heroes:

Absolutely.
