Bodil Lunde Rortveit

Bodil lives in Copenhagen, were she is making music, doing vocal coaching, studying all the interesting things the human voice possibly can do and enjoying life. She is also going back and forth between Denmark and Norway, doing workshops on singing technique, vocal group techniques, african music, rhythm training for choirs etc. During summer 2008 she moves to Bergen, Norway, to continue as a freelancer from there.Bodil is mainly a vocalist, vocal coach and choir conductor (in Trondheim and Copenhagen). Since 1999 she has been singing in the acapella band Apes&Babes, which these days are inspired by world/folk music, but also by rhythmical music in general. Her other band, Tangoting, is four great ladies, making all kinds of dramatic music into their own tango style. And finally she has found an opportunity to sing Bulgarian folk music - in the danish/norwegian Trio Bjulbjula (the three nightingales).The song in the song list called "Vanish", is written by Eirik Myhr and was picked out as one of the "ukas urørt" at NRK P3 in 2003.In June 2008 she finished her three year vocal coach education at Complete Vocal Institute (CVI) in Copenhagen, founded by Cathrine Sadolin.
