Heeeeey yoouuuuu guuuuys!!!!! Its Captain Chunk and I'm very upset. I have a good friend who was making a fantastic movie called Drop Dead Twice. The story really gives me the same feeling and enjoyment as Goonies or Monster Squad! Unfortunatly some evil suit tyrant that was supposed to finance the project pulled out on them to make "naughy" movies so now they can't finish the film.Movies now of days don't tell stories, they just have situations with bad characters, THIS ONE is not only Traditional, its a very exciting and unique idea. They had already started filming and worked with practically no money as it was.Over 50 college students were expecting to get externship credit for the films FX and etc, over 400 extras signed up and were excited to be in it. Everyone involved was working for free and they just had to pay for the materials and permits. They were making a dream come true. Making a truly great film just for the sake of making movies but now one person has DESTROYED all of it. No more credit for the students, no more fun for the extras, nothing.I am trying to get people together to donate a little bit of money to help them get this back off the ground. If every one on my friends list skipped buying that one magazine or that ICEE at the mall and donated, they would have their budget back and make a classic movie for all of us to enjoy for years to come. They're accepting donations of any amount and in exchange, you will get credit in the film! Thats a pretty good deal. If everyone just donated $5 thats $5,000 and = a finished movie with your name in it!I really feel bad for my friends. They've been working on this for years and I don't want to see them get crushed.
