I play roller derby. I read a lot. I commute 150 miles a day for work right now. I talk more than I read. My voice carries very well and the concept of a whisper is totally foreign to me. I'm a control freak. I have a tendency to yell at my fellow derby teammates (working on that though). It's hard for me to be a positive person sometimes. I love sushi - it's my comfort food. I love Chief, the puppy Chip and I got a few months ago - he's super cute!
Roller Derby rocks my world (for better or for worse) on a daily basis. I love to skate and cause as much friction as possible...it's what I do best :)
I'm currently skating for the Texas Rollergirls on the home team of the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers. They've been season champions before and I want to help get our team there again!!
I USED to skate as a Pivot, Jammer and Blocker for one of the Denver Roller Dolls' home team, the Green Barrettes and their travel team, the Mile High Club. I was a captain for both teams and President of the league all at once (for a brief period of time). I found out a lot about myself in Denver, CO and the Dolls were a huge part of my life there. I miss them very much. Seriously, miss is such an understatement.
