AFTER NEARLY TEN YEARS OF GETTING BANNED FROM VENUES, GETTING IN DRUNKEN BAR FIGHTS, AND GETTING THE POLICE CALLED ON US, GOD FEARING NATION HAVE OFFICIALLY DISBANDED. THIS PAGE WILL REMAIN SOMEWHAT ACTIVE WITH OUR MUSIC AND BIO. MOST OF THE MEMBERS ARE CURRENTLY PURSUING OTHER MUSICAL ENDEAVORS, YOU CAN USE THE PERSONAL LINKS TO KEEP IN TOUCH.
God Fearing Nation was established several years ago and has gone through nearly twenty member changes since our inception. Travis and Ken founded the band, and to this day are the only original members. The current lineup consists of Travis on vocals and guitar, Dustin on bass guitar, Ken on guitar, and Cameron on electronics, all set to a dark soundtrack of brutal drum programming. The current lineup is the strongest we have had, and our stage show is far unlike anything else in the local music scene. We use heavy electronics, down-tuned bass, agressive guitars, and thrash/grindcore vocal stylings to create a deliberate, chaotic sound that leaves listeners either scared or in awe. Seeing us live is a whole other sort of experience. Our stage show has gotten us banned from one local venue, and tends to sicken and disturb many people. A huge projection screen displaying random scenes of graphic violence, bondage torture, movie clips, and random disturbing imagery is just the beginning. Guitar halfstacks built into television screens dipicting even more random imagery for your senses. Add blacklight makeup, blood, smoke, a large angle grinder, all with a high energy group of people, and it makes for one hell of a good show. While our particular blend of music mostly caters to fans of groups like Godflesh, Ministry, Neurosis, Rorschach Test, and Bile, the band itself is guarenteed to get a reaction out of every person watching us, whether it be good or bad.
