The scene is not dead. OUR scene is in a coasting state.
Here's the deal, musicians all throughout Ventura County have been saying the statements above for several years, and now it stops. The Ventura County Music Scene used to be the place to be. The shows were constant, and so were the crowds of people hungry for live music that could kick them to the ground. Over the years WE, as in you, me, and everybody else, let that love and dedication to this art slowly fade away. Bands broke up, venues closed, companies went bankrupt. So now, after too many years of watching what I love fall apart, I am here to help bring it back! I have a vision and a goal. I can guarantee you that this scene is going to be better than it once was, 10 fold! I am not a quitter, and I am staying put until there is nothing left of this scene except for atoms. VCMS IS HERE TO STAY!!!!
If you have a problem with what's about to happen; tough crap... go somewhere else!
We Ventura County residents love our musicians, and all we want is a hospitable place to enjoy and share in what we love; live music. That's all we ask for. With all that said, I cannot and will not do this alone. I need your help! So if you feel the same way that I do, please do your part and come back to the shows. The musicians need you, the venues want you, and we all love you. Come back home!

That being said, please be respectful of the fact that this website is free. I will get back to you anywhere from a minute to 5 days, at the latest. If you've not received a message back after 5 days, and I am not off on vacation or out of town, then I never received it. Please send it again!
I am not a booking company or agent. I am not booking shows. Please do not ask me to do so, because the answer is NO. Updating this page has gotten a tad bit more of a challenge for me since the beginning of the year. That means that I need your help as well.
