Tree Hugging, Dirt Worshiping Faerie

About Me

I live at the beach with my four legged and feathered "kids". I regularly travel to Renaissance Faires (NC, MD, PA, NY, TN and others). I love live music, especially music that you can dance to (jam band, hippy music) Yes, I am one of those long flowing skirt, twirling hippy girls that you see lost in the music at shows! Also, I organize a monthly full moon drum circle at the beach.

My Interests

I try to attend as many Renaissance Faires and music festivals as I can cram in throughout the year, which means that I do a lot of traveling. When I am not working, I can be found hanging out with my Rottweiller, my long haired fluffy kitties, my birds (chickens & pigeons) and my houseplants. I also organize the monthly full moon drum circle on the beach.

I'd like to meet:

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SENDING FRIEND REQUESTS: Although I am flattered by the amount of friend requests I am getting, please understand that I will not just add anyone who requests it. I will not be one of those people who have a zillion "friends". I believe in quality not quantity. Therefore, if you are serious about being a friend, please send me a message first, stating why you would like to be added to my short list. (Rennies and sexy long haired guys are exempt...) All of the people on my list are either people that I know in the real world or would like to know. I am not interested in adding someone whom I would never speak to or have anything in common with. Thank you in advance for your understanding. ************************************************************ **Now, who I would like to meet: Rennies (people who go to Renaissance Faires/Fantasy/Faerie events); sexy, long haired guys (preferably single!); people with similar interests as those listed on my page (music, drumming, reading, animals etc.)

Music:

Oh, this could be a long list... I am a child of 80's Heavy Metal, with lasting influences from going to Grateful Dead shows before Jerry left us, and Renaissance Faire performers. My favorite bands are: Rush, Gov't Mule, Queensryche, Dream Theater, American Drag, Savatage, Rainbow, Blackmores Night, Loreena McKinnit, Medieaval Baebes, Omnia, Faun, Allman Bros, The Dead, UFO, Black Crowes, Overkill, Zebra, Triumph, KIX, Pantera, Fates Warning.. Plus I was very involved with regional up & coming bands from '85-'94: Roughhouse/Teeze, American Angel, Zenon.

Movies:

I don't usually go to the movie theaters, but I will rent DVDs from time to time. I really like fantasy or period movies. Robin of Sherwood BBC/Showtime Series (mid 80's with Michael Praed) and Highlander the Series (with Adrian Paul) are my all time favorites, along with Lord of the Rings, but that would be a given. Robin of Sherwood.. the Hooded ManRobin of Sherwood with Michael Praed video

Television:

I am really into HEX on BBC America right now. Some of my favorite older shows: Secret Adventures of Jules Verne, Tracker, The Crow (the first movie and the series), Highlander the Series, and Random 1 on A&E... it's a reality show about people helping people.. a really heart warming show that reminds me that there are still some honest people trying to help others with no monetary gain involved. Criss Angel--Mindfreak--before he cut his hair!

Books:

Anything and everything fantasy related! Robert Jordan, Tanith Lee, Weis & Hickman, Meghan Brunner (www.faire-folk.com great trilogy for Rennies written by a Rennie!).

Heroes:

Herne the Hunter from Robin of Sherwood Series
