Music for me is my fellow warriors laughing and enjoying themselves.
It is the greetings of my wife and children after a long absence.
It is also the moans of pleasure from our slave women when they please my brothers and I.
But my favorite sound is my battle-axe Hausakluif splitting an enemy's helm in half, hearing his last breath, and looking into his eyes as he dies.
The waves against our ships, the smell of the salty sea air,
the crackling fires in a razed enemy village, the cry of the blackbirds circling above the battlefield.
