Friday (6/29) was our last show at Area 108. Our departure was amicable, but necessary.
Unfortunately, at this point, that's about all I can say about it. Our good friend Josh Bell at the Las Vegas Weekly did a short piece about our departure, which you can read here if you like. It was also an honor to have our sign-off noted by Norm! at the Review Journal, where we shared space in his esteemed column with Pam Anderson.
I wanted to take this moment to sincerely thank all of you for listening, voting for us in the Las Vegas Weekly Reader's Poll, and for keeping in touch with us since our final broadcast on Area 108. I can't tell you how great it was to be so warmly welcomed by so many cool people.
Nicole and I are hoping that we'll be able to take the show to another station here in Las Vegas. There's absolutely nothing definite yet, but if you'd like to hear us back on the air here in Sin City, it certainly wouldn't hurt if you contacted some of the other radio stations around town. I mean, back in the day, enough people started screaming "I want my M-TV!". Now, ironically, we can't get rid of it.
Here's a handy link to all the local station's contact info , in case you wanted to call or write, and politely ...
very politely suggest that you'd cancel your satellite radio subscription, throw your ipod out the window, and even put their station sticker on your car if they gave the Award Winning "Gonzo In The Morning" a new radio home.
... in the meantime, here's where you can find us: (put 'em in your bookmarks)

Our past shows will re-run, continuously. Simply click here to listen .
We're hoping to do some more live internet versions of the show in the coming weeks. We've done a couple of test runs, so we'll set up a regular schedule and get those going soon. They'll all be archived and rebroadcast later, and we'll make them available in Podcast form as well.
Thanks, everyone, for your (half-assed) support. I remain, always, humbly, Las Vegas' Best Radio Personality. (So, suck it!)
-Gonzo
