played bass in The Trees, a Deep Ellum (dallas TX)band, from '85 to somewhere around '91 (kinda blurry in there, ahem...) alongside bands like Shallow Reign, The Buck Pets, Loco Gringos, End Over End, new bohemians, Horton Heat, the Idea Men, Larry's Dad. personally played "here comes the bride" on bass at Chris Douridas's wedding at club daDa, and once saw Leon Russell on the toilet at Tommy's.
played bass, wrote songs, and (!) sang in Planet X with John Wilson, Phil Bush (princess Tex, Whiteman)and Chris Dirkx (the Telefones [thanx G, here's yer fuggin' F], Whiteman, MC900 ft. Jesus) for a couple more years, until everybody got their wives pregnant at once (NOT ME THO!!!) and decided to be family guys; threw tantrum and quit.

played bass and sang harmonies in Lockjaw with Pat Mc Kanna (The Trees, Medicine Show Caravan, Caterpillar), Dan Kehoe (everybody), and Danny Kent. made a cee dee, with artwork by Greta B., and gave them all away. Played many gigs, especially wednesday nights at The Dark Room, with a deejay named Jeff (the Last Record Store), and a rooftop 4th of July gig with the fireworks from the Rolling Stones show behind us and a mob of people in front of us. Wanted to stop time right then, but, alas...
