Indra7 found his interest in music while he was in elementary school. The first record that he bought was Guns N’ Roses’ album “Appetite For Destruction†(1988). Soon after he bought that album, music changed everything in his life. He started to form his own band when he was in 6th grade and he got back into it again when he started junior high school
His interest in DJ-ing began in 1998 after watching DJ Anton Wirjono (Future10) spinning at Bengkel Nightpark. He started to learn spinning at IDJS Jakarta, and in that same time also he started collecting some records from 1997s electronic DJs and Producers like The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Fluke, Leftfield, Underworld, Keoki, Rabbit In The Moon etc. Nowadays he described his musical style anything from House, Deep House, Techno, Melodic Techno, Minimal and Break Beat; With some influences from big names such as Carl Craig, Sasha, Aril Brikha, M.A.N.D.Y, Oliver Koletzki, Booka Shade, Luca Bachetti, Pig & Dan, Radioslave, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Plump DJs, and some Indonesia’s great DJs.

Besides spinning, he also formed an electronic band called “Media Distorsi†with his old time friend, Agus Sasongko. They already released one full album in Indonesia and Japan, as well as couple of singles for “Jakarta Movement ’05†compilation, “OST Janji Joniâ€, and “Mesin Waktu: Teman-Teman Menyanyikan Lagu Naifâ€
His interest in house music brought him to his long time best friend, Firman and DJ Oki Koro. At the end of 2006, the three of them formed a label that consists good quality of house music called Digital Six Soundsystem.
In August 2007, he met with Alvin K from Dafkaf Inc and Gibran Sani from Camouflage. Their interest in techno music inspired them to form a collective that holding out the vibe of Tech House and Minimal up bringing called Microchip. Sadly, after the first monthly event GLIMPSE, Gibran decided to leave Microchip regarding to his solo project with Monodrama. So far, Microchip (with Alvin K & Indra7) had already running GLIMPSE for the 6th time now.
