“Prescriptions For The Rich†is five kick arse tracks showcasing the bands new found musical diversity. Recorded in Sydney under some crazy deadlines and in the middle of a touring schedule which saw the band travelling 16 hours overnight and spending nights in the studio till 5am to get it finished the band is justifiably proud of the results
Opening with the killer rock track Money Cant Buy Class lead vocalist Benny Britton gives an insight into what Is on his mind with a social commentary that describes the world we live in as a “ Celebrity focussed†drug fuelled mess.
“Life Inside†is the best example of the bands ability to pull it all back and get us hooked in on a classic big time chorus, with lead guitarist Mark Barnes Van Halenish riffs sitting underneath Benny’s best vocal delivery yet delivering a sing along smash.
The personal highlight for the band though is “The Giftâ€, a message for Benny K from his best mate Benny Britton written with his insight after the death of his much loved father to cancer. It manages to be uplifting even though the subject matter brings sadness to those involved.
