CHASING PHOENIX is an emerging Adelaide energetic rock outfit. This dedicated five piece has been together in it's current form since November 2007, but this isn't were it all started.
Originally writing as a two piece just to pass the time in April 2006, Jordan Roberts and Brendan Tammo eventually realised that it might be worth persueing other members to further cement their sound. Enter Thadeu Freitas, tallented bass player... a lucky coincidence at a dinner with friends, the three decide to get together to jam. A few short months later a call was put in to Heath Newman, a long time friend of Brendan and Jordan after all three had spent 3 years in local Adelaide band [frameshift].
Then the search for a singer began. Many were tried, many good talents were discovered, but Chasing Phoenix was completed when Adam Weber fell into the roll thanks to a friendly hookup by a mutual friend and previous band mate of the boys. Adam's vocal talents, enormous range and individual sound, accompanied by the structural diversity of the music and driving vocal and guitar harmonies and schooled bass lines has made Chasing Phoenix what it is today...
